How to use Enzyme Shampoo

Dry Shampoo

What kind of pets can be used?

Our dry shampoo can be used for cats and dogs but also can be used for small pets like ferrets and rabbits. When used on small animals, make sure to wipe or dry after spraying and cleansing.

Is it safe for cats to lick?

Our products are safe for cats to use. The ingredients we use are chemical free, all natural and safe to be ingested.

How often can I use the dry shampoo?

Depending on how dirty your pet is, but you can use it once a day.

I have a long-haired cat. Can I just spray on the surface?

We recommend to brush before spraying and then spray thoroughly to be more effective.

I see a yellowish residue in the solution. What is it? Is it safe?

It’s a reaction from using a sake-derived moisturiser ingredient. It doesn’t impact the quality so it is safe to use.

Does your dry shampoo have an expiry date?

We recommend to use it within 1 year after opening.

Enzyme Shampoo

The shampoo is not foaming but does it remove impurities and dirt?

Yes! The functionality of the enzyme and alkaline water is to gently lift the dirt and impurities. Our enzymatic shampoo is tested at the food environment research lab (Shokukanken Inc.) for quality assurance.

My cat’s skin type is oily. Will my cat’s skin still be sticky or oily after shampoo?

We recommend using 30~35 ml of enzymatic shampoo concentration for oily skin in 1L of warm water. If you can, we recommend you prepare a mini tub for your cat and soak your cat inside the tub with shampoo.

My cat’s skin type is dry. Will my cat’s skin be dry after shampooing?

For dry skin, mix 20 ml of the enzymatic shampoo concentration with 1L of warm water. Add 30g of honey moisturising mask and mix well. Apply directly on your cat’s skin and fur. Massage thoroughly and rinse with 1L of water. Pat dry with towel then dry with low temperature. High temperatures can cause more dryness on the skin.

Can I use your shampoo on hairless cats?

Our enzymatic shampoo can be used on any kind of cat from long hair to hairless. It also can be used on other animals like dogs and ferrets.

My cat’s fur sheds a lot during shampoo. What can I do?

We strongly recommend brushing thoroughly before shampooing to avoid matting and tangles. Use a furminator to remove any unwanted undercoat for double to triple-coated cats.

Does your shampoo remove the smell?

Absolutely! Our enzymatic shampoo will remove bad odour. Our product will not cover up the smell with fragrant.

What's the expiry date?

We recommend using it up within 1 year after opening.

Honey Treatment Mask

How do I use a honey treatment mask?

  • Method 1: Apply the mask on dry skin first. Then leave it on for 3~5 minutes and wash it with warm water. Follow up with enzymatic shampoo or with shampoo you use.
  • Method 2: Mix 25g of honey mask with 25ml of enzymatic shampoo concentration and dilute with 1L of warm water (37 Celsius). Mix well and apply it on dry fur and skin. Massage in thoroughly and wash it with warm water (2L).

My cat is flakey. Is there a recommended way of using the product?

  • You can directly apply the mask on your cat’s skin and fur. While waiting, prepare for a warm bath in a small tub. Put your cat inside and use warm water to massage in while rinsing the mask off. Pat dry with a towel then dry with a dryer. It’s ok to have some honey mask left.

How often should I use it?

  • We usually recommend using it on a shampoo day, but if you are concerned with dry skin, we recommend using our honey moisturising mask alone once a week. 

Can I use it on my cat for diaper rash? (Cats are seniors, disabled)

  • We recommend using the mask mixed with our enzymatic shampoo to clean and soothe the affected area.

Does your honey moisturising pack have an expiry date?

  • Yes. We recommend you use it within 1 year after opening. Please avoid direct sunlight and hot and humid places to store as it can affect the quality of the product.
